Theft of Prescription Drugs :
MANITOULIN OPP INVESTIGATE PHARMACY BREAK-IN
On Thursday 21 September 2006 at approximately 09:00 AM, Manitoulin OPP were called to Guardian Pharmacy located on Highway 6, Little Current. Sometime the previous evening, culprits broke into the pharmacy and stole a large quantity of pharmaceutical drugs. During the break and enter an ATM machine was touched in an attempt to remove it.
Police wish to warn the public that a large quantity of drugs have been stolen and may be on the streets. These drugs can be extremely dangerous if taken without the direction of a physician, which can be fatal. Police caution the public not to take any medication that is not prescribed for you.
Manitoulin OPP are presently investigating the break and enter and are asking the public for assistance.
