(May 23, 2007) : Racing Against Drugs
- Racing Against Drugs Event is brought to M'Chigeeng First Nation with the assistance of the RCMP, UCCM Police, Wikwemikong Police, the OPP and M'Chigeeng First Nation Community Safety Coordinator and various other sponsors. The message is to our youth in grades 5 and 6 to choose healthy lifestyles and avoid drugs and alcohol.

(August 13, 2007) : AOK Girls Program
- Girls aged 11 and 12 are invited to the AOK community centre to play various games, light activity and learn lifeskills with each other. Facilitators Athena LaCarte and Haven House employee, Allison Hall, both involve the girls in activities to get them thinking about themselves, their friends/family and their behaviour. This is day one after a two month hiatus, and will return to regular weekly meetings mid-september.


(August 25, 2007) : M'Chigeeng 3 on 3 basketball tournament
- Organizers, Lana Debassige and Athena LaCarte, with help from other agencies, are hosting an all day 3 on 3 basketball tournament beginning at about 10am Saturday August 25th. The games will be played at the Pinewood Park basketball courts and run throughout the day. There will be three different categories and is aimed at our youth and young adults. Please contact Lana at the band office 377-5362 for more details and sign your team up for a great day of fun, competition and prizes!! Skill is not really a factor, we want everyone to have fun!
