Healthy Relationships Training

The Healthy Relationships Training initiative is a preventative strategy primarily designed for youth. Its goal is to enable students to see the linkages between sexist attitudes and violence, and to develop critical thinking skills around these important issues. The topics discussed are gender stereotypes, understanding anger in relationships, educating about sexual assault, date rape, promoting self-awareness and self-esteem and exposing the components of healthy relationships.

The curriculum includes Aboriginal cultural teachings and ceremonies that support healthy relationships.
