PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUESTED TO LOCATE WANTED INDIVIDUAL

UCCM Officers Pursue Multiple Outstanding Warrants for M’Chigeeng First Nation Resident Following Separate Police Investigations

INCIDENT NUMBER: UF26001815 & UF26001820

 The UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a wanted individual. Isiah Anwhatin, 23 years of age, of M’Chigeeng First Nation, is currently wanted by the UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service on multiple outstanding warrants stemming from separate police investigations.

The outstanding charges include:

  • Theft Over $5,000
  • Mischief Under $5,000
  • Failure to Comply with a Release Order (4 counts)
  • Failure to Comply with Probation
  • Dangerous Operation
  • Operation While Prohibited
  • Flight from Peace Officer

In addition to the outstanding criminal charges, an Order for Committal has also been issued following the withdrawal of the accused’s surety.

Investigators are actively attempting to locate Mr. Anwhatin and are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact police. The public is reminded that anyone who knowingly assists a wanted person in avoiding arrest may be committing a criminal offence.

Members of the public should not approach or attempt to apprehend Mr. Anwhatin. If he is seen, please contact the UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service immediately or call 9-1-1 if the sighting is in progress.
