On Friday, January 27th, 2023, accused, Prince Graham, attended a bail hearing decision.

Bail was denied on this date.

Prince Graham will now attend a first appearance court date on Wednesday, February 01st, 2023 to answer to his charges.


Update 2 – release date: 16·January·2023

On Monday, January 16th, 2023, accused, Prince Graham, was arrested for his outstanding charges and was processed at UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service Headquarters.

Mr. Graham is being held for a bail hearing on January 17th, 2023, for the following offences:

  • Attempt to Commit Murder using a Restricted Firearm or Prohibited Firearm – 239(1)(a) CC
  • Pointing a Firearm – S. 87 CC
  • Handle Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition in a Careless Manner – 86(1) CC
  • Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose – S. 88 CC
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm – S. 91(1) CC

Update 1 – release date: 01·March·2022

On March 01st, 2022, Investigators received information from numerous sources that the accused, Prince Graham, was staying at an address in M’Chigeeng.

As a result of this information, a S.529.1 Criminal Code warrant to search a dwelling house was applied for and granted.

Officers with OPP Emergency Response Team, Tactical Rescue Unit, Aviation Unit, Community Street Crime Unit, and UCCM Police & OPP Officers safely executed the warrant, however the accused, Prince Graham, was not present.

As of the time of this press release the accused and the firearm are still outstanding.

The public is reminded that if they observe Prince GRAHAM, do not attempt to approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous.  Call the Police and report your observations.

Release Date: 28·February·2022

** Accused at large for Attempt Murder**

Just before 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022, UCCM Police were called regarding a weapons complaint at an address on Bebonang St, in M’Chigeeng First Nation.

When Officers arrived on scene, they located a 30-year-old male who had been shot.  The male was transported to the hospital to receive treatment for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

This is believed to be a targeted and isolated incident.

Detectives from UCCM Police and OPP Criminal Investigations began canvassing the area for information, evidence, and video surveillance footage.

Through the investigation it was determined that the victim was inside the residence on Bebonang St., and the accused entered the residence and shot the victim.

The accused has been identified as:

  • Prince Almando GRAHAM, 37, of Toronto

An arrest warrant has been issued for Mr. Graham for the following offences:

  • Attempt to Commit Murder using a Restricted Firearm or Prohibited Firearm – S. 239(1)(a) CC
  • Pointing a Firearm – S. 87 CC
  • Handle Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition in a Careless Manner – S. 86(1) CC
  • Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose – S. 88 CC
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm – S. 91(1) CC

The accused fled the scene prior to police arrival which initiated an expansive search of identified residences and associated vehicles throughout the communities on Manitoulin Island.  This was conducted in coordination with the OPP Emergency Response Team, Tactical Rescue Unit, Aviation Unit, Community Street Crime Unit, and UCCM Police and OPP Officers.  As of the time of this press release the accused and the firearm are still outstanding.

The public is reminded that if they observe Prince GRAHAM, do not attempt to approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous.

This remains an active investigation with the UCCM Police and the OPP.
